Hitachi ZeroCarbon Unveils All-in-One EV Fleet Platform for Seamless Decarbonisation

Hitachi ZeroCarbon has launched a comprehensive electric vehicle (EV) fleet solution, providing end-to-end support for businesses transitioning to zero-emission transport ahead of Europe’s 2035 climate target. Drawing on lessons from Optimise Prime—the world’s largest EV commercial trial involving over 8,000 vehicles—the new offering is designed to unlock efficiency, reduce emissions, and generate new revenue streams.

The solution is built around four integrated modules:

  • ZeroCarbon Strategy: Helps operators plan their EV transition with site assessments, total cost of ownership (TCO) modelling, decarbonisation roadmaps, and financing.
  • ZeroCarbon Charge: A real-time platform offering 24/7 load balancing, charge visibility, and tariff optimisation.
  • ZeroCarbon Fleet: Maximises uptime and energy-based income with smart battery tools and integrated charge management.
  • ZeroCarbon BatteryManager: Provides diagnostics and performance insights to extend battery life and safeguard residual value.

Designed to remove both complexity and capital barriers, the platform allows fleets to manage energy costs while improving operational resilience. It supports existing infrastructure and is already being deployed across more than 1,000 EV assets in Europe, North America, and Asia.

“Our customers often don’t know where to begin, so we’ve created a seamless, people-focused offering that removes complexity and capital barriers,” said Mike Nugent, Chief Revenue Officer at Hitachi ZeroCarbon. The system empowers businesses to accelerate climate goals while maintaining full operational control.
