Abu Dhabi has introduced MARSDNA, a pioneering digital tool aimed at advancing Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance in the maritime industry. Developed by Maqta Technologies Group, this free and accessible platform enables maritime stakeholders, ranging from small enterprises to large corporations, to effectively track and improve their ESG progress.
Simplifying ESG Tracking for All
MARSDNA integrates globally recognized ESG metrics from the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) and the International Maritime Organization (IMO), making it easier for organizations to align with global standards. The tool provides users with tailored reports and personalized recommendations based on a simple questionnaire, helping maritime businesses to develop and refine their ESG strategies.

The tool initially targets five segments of the maritime value chain, with plans for broader expansion in the future.
